EARLY YEARS TASTER DAY
At IBSB, we believe every child deserves the very best start in life. In our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we offer a warm, welcoming environment where children are inspired to explore, discover, and grow in confidence every day.
Our experienced and passionate Early Years team is at the heart of what makes our setting so special. With a deep understanding of child development and a commitment to nurturing each child’s unique potential, our educators create a safe, stimulating space where children feel happy, supported, and ready to learn.
One of the key strengths of our Early Years provision is our team of native English-speaking teachers, who play a vital role in developing strong foundations in phonics, early reading, and writing. Through daily exposure to rich language and carefully structured phonics sessions, many of our children are confidently reading and writing by the age of five. It is amazing for us to see your children develop these skills so quickly and the effect it has on their confidence, curiosity and motivation to learn more; it is the key to their future success.
We follow the Characteristics of Effective Learning – Playing and Exploring, Active Learning, and Creating and Thinking Critically – to help children become curious, independent learners. Whether they’re solving problems, asking questions, or expressing themselves creatively, every experience is designed to build confidence, resilience, and a love for learning.
We know that choosing the right Early Years setting is a big decision.
