A ray OF HOPE | Family Shelter Emergency bags for Ukraine

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has displaced more than 1,000,000 people over the past week. However, the most vulnerable people cannot flee. Children with disabilities and their families cannot travel hundreds of kilometres in the difficult conditions to escape the bombardment and advancing troops military. Urgent humanitarian assistance is required.

IBSB is partnering with Light into Europe to arrange delivery of a truckload of essential replies and is asking for your help. We are inviting our students, staff, and the wider school community to kindly donate this week dry and canned food items, high-nutrition food, medicine, and personal hygiene products, including nappies, food/tins, socks, gloves, sweets, t-shirts, underwear, blanket, small toy, Vitamin C, cough/cold syrup, panadol/paracetamol.

Items will be collected and stored in the IBSB PE Hall this week, with the truck scheduled to be loaded ready for departure on Thursday night, so please donate generously in the days ahead.

You can also support Light into Europe with a donation using the bank details mentioned below.

Thank you for your support – together we can help to make someone else’s day a little brighter.
